Just a quick update today. These are the character "puppets" for the All Nite Dinah short, which will eventually have it's own name.
I may or may not make the monster bigger. I kind of like the idea of the kids being frightened by such a small creature.

Will they be characters who really are puppets? You should put slits in their mouths and attach strings to their wrists.
No, they are just "cut out" puppets. Hence the reason they look incredibly flat and junk or something. :)

Then you should make it look like paper. Give them some shadows under their layers, some paper texture, maybe scissor cut marks.
